Jardine Schindler Group (JSG) is a joint venture between Jardine Matheson (est.1832) and Schindler Group(est.1874). JSG is specialized in design, engineer, install, maintain and modernize elevators, escalators and moving walkways in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Vietnam, the Philippines, Macau, Myanmar, Brunei and Cambodia. HR Operations Manager (Shared Services Centre)

Mobility is the goal

  • Oversees the day-to-day delivery and execution of HR services and processes within the region.
  • Manage a team who is responsible for daily operations related to core HR processes ( EDA, Recruitment and Training )
  • Maintains standard operating procedures, process flows and ensures the team is adhering to the agreed processes.
  • Periodically reviews all SOP, process flows etc to ensure that its up to date.
  • Supervises team looking closely at daily operational metrics, addressing any changes in volume and/or priority, ensuring ongoing coverage & right balance for the team
  • Leads continuous improvement to drive efficiency gains
  • Maintains ongoing communication with all internal and external parties in order to proactively receive feedback, work on improvements, handle escalations, implement solutions, etc.
  • Works with peers in other regions to share best practices, look for efficiencies and standardization of global processes.
  • Manage performance and professional development of the team
  • Track team progress and report to the HR Leadership, escalating issues as needed
  • Ensure adherence to risk, compliance, and data protection standards across designated process areas
  • Resolve more complex queries escalated by HR Analyst & Team Lead
  • Take part in the change management project that essentially contains the communication to all JSG employees.
  • Preparation of necessary reports for management team
  • Drive the transformation of employee and manager experience, increase self-service capability and grow operational efficiencies through simplification and automation
  • Optimizes HR technology systems to meet workflow requirements creating opportunities for automation, reduction of manual processes and simplified processes that help drive accuracy and completeness.
