Modernization Sales Manager

Your main responsibilities

KEY AREAS

TASKS

MOD Sales Growth

  • Develop and actively drive a strategy to grow the Schindler Modernization business (on-portfolio and off-portfolio) in alignment with Group growth targets
  • Identify aging elevator & escalator installed base and customer information to develop sales pipeline
  • Establish and maintain external relationships with property management companies, architects, consultants and contractors to stay informed regarding business opportunities and market trends.
  • Establish and maintain close working relationships with Schindler Service Leaders,Branch managers and project fulfilment team, in order to facilitate the successful growth and execution of the modernisation business.
  • Enhance data-driven sales activity management, coach and develop sales representatives to close deals.

MOD Products

  • Be knowledgeable in all modernisation products and apply the right solutions to attain customer satisfaction and profitability objectives.
  • Analyse customer needs and competitor offerings in order to assist in defining new product requirements.

Process and profit

  • Develop & maintain proper process, ensure process compliance
  • Be knowledgeable in costing process to ensure a proper and profitable offering.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers for cost review to have a gap analysis and take appropriate corrective action.

What you bring

Education

University Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or relevant field

Other skills

  • Customer focused and commercially astute
  • Energy, drive and positive “can do” attitude
  • Good communication & Negotiation Skills
  • Sales management
  • Financial knowledge

Professional experience

  • Sales Experience Industrial products
  • Understanding of basic lift design and project management is a plus
  • SAP Experience is an advantage
