Network Engineer

Mobility is the goal

  • Attend all coordination meeting with IT team of various stakeholder and owner with due diligence on timeline planning leading up till contractual completion
  • Submit detailed bandwidth calculations for IT team's backend processing.
  • Submit detailed time program for IP devices to be online leading to commissioning
  • Submit PoE requirements with detailed load calculations
  • Coordinate with IT team on all VLAN and DHCP reservations required.
  • Track the progress of other Infra requirements for his Network devices including but not limited to Power and data point provisions for the contractual devices
  • Tracking the progress of cable patching works from Patch panels and to Access Switches.
  • Lead the troubleshooting and commissioning process for all interfaces required for   Integration.
  • Electrical Low Voltage (ELV) interfaces with services i.e. Fire, Electrical, IBMS and lifts
  • Monitoring network engineering performance and ensure system availability and reliability
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

Mobility needs you

  • Proven hands-on network engineering experience
  • Strong technical / Network / IT competence.
  • Great interpersonal skills and customer oriented.
  • Good initiative and a problem solver.
  • Collaborative approach, strong team-working skills and self-motivated
  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools such as IPV4 AND, PV6 compliant, MAC address Whitelisting, IEEE 802.lx Compliant Network Access Control, Network Storm Control, Reservation…etc
  • Degree / Diploma in information technology, engineering, computer science / engineering, information system management.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the IT network environment.
  • Has prior experience working with hospital’s IT team.
  • MS Excel, Word, Power point, SAP experience an advantage but not necessary.
