Project Engineer
Mobility is the goal
- Develop comprehensive project management plan including scheduling, resource - and capacity planning and quality assurance.
- Accountable for Safety Implementation on site as per Schindler Standards and lead as role Model in exhibiting Safety Policies and Schindler Value.
- Accountable for P&L for all jobs under the portfolio.
- Plan and schedule work for supervisor and company technician and ensure optimum usage of available resources.
- Responsible for negotiation with subcon and vendors along with P&L to achieve business Profitability.
- Effective documentation and record Maintainace for all jobs with respect to external and internal communication.
- Manage project related tasks to achieve the project objectives on time and within the cost target by strictly enforcing quality, safety, and customer satisfaction throughout the entire duration of the project.
- Assure effective project management, smooth and timely communication with all parties involved, particularly with the representatives of the customer to meet or exceed his expectations.
- Look for favorable opportunities &Sell variation orders timely to reach financial objectives.
- Provide regular project management reports and Project operational and financial status to head of commodity and Present WIP status to Management Monthly.
- Influence the customer for Payment Certification and collection of payments for Invoiced Work to maintain Positive cash flow throughout the project cycle.
- Follow the Project Management Process from award until handover including all statutory requirements and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance to Schindler Organizational Norms, policies, procedures and requirements of the process and quality hold points defined in the work instructions of the Top Range Excellence (as required by Project) / Fulfilment Plus process (On All Projects).
- Sign off as defined in ON 17100 for major projects, execute all contractual terms to continuously protecting Schindler's financial entitlements.
- Lead the project team and assign adequate authorities and responsibilities & Represent Schindler as Frontline Operative in all jobs under portfolio.
- Accountable for commercial sign off and final closure of the Project
