Digital Product Engineer (m/f/d)

 

We Elevate... Your Responsibilities

Shape and develop digital products and services for the Schindler service organization by covering the fulfillment, training and KG support aspects during the project phase of new developments of digital products and services. Bring all pieces together, qualify the services in the digital ecosystem and ensure take-off in Schindler country organizations.

 

  • Specify business and service requirements for new digital products and services
  • Create and manage technical documentation for digital products and services to lay the knowledge foundation for the Schindler country organizations
  • Define and maintain test cases necessary to assess functionality and user acceptance on pilot-/ validation-units
  • Assess product quality of digital products and services withing the digital ecosystem by executing validation-tests, delivering decision-making material required for global release of new products and services
  • Create training material for digital products and services, and ensure knowhow transfer (i.e. training sessions) to Group departments as well as KGs
  • Support the global rollout of new digital EI products and services, judge on technical readiness and supervise the introduction from fulfillment side
  • Provide technical 3rd-level support on digital products & services to country organizations and internal teams

Skills and expertise:

 

  • BSc/ MSc or BEng/ Meng / Techniker/ Meister
  • Over 5 years experience as Technical Specialist, Telematics specialist, Field Support Engineer (or similar) in the E&E or in a related industry
  • Experience in troubleshooting
  • Experience in writing technical documentation
  • IoT expertise as developer, supporter or user
  • Ability for conceptual and analytical work in addition to hands-on practice on existing customer installations in the field;   
  • Didactical / teaching skills in the electronics and mechanics     
  • Very good communication skills  
  • Flexible attitude and willing to work in a very dynamic and agile environment
  • Fluent English
