Join us as a

Manager Global Technical Operations Center (m/f/d)

The Global Technical Operations Center (TOC) defines standards and tools and fosters innovation among 27 local TOCs all around the world. Making advanced adaptive maintenance and remote services based on real-time data possible. A large global network that sees elevator and escalator specialists work side by side with data analysts. Together, they continuously monitor and analyze all the performance data from elevators and escalators transmitted via our IoT solutions. With the Technical Operations Centers, the service of the future is already a reality.


We Elevate... Your Responsibilities

  • Analyze business opportunities around connected units; create business cases and support their implementation & roll-out in the global TOC network all around the world
  • Project lead of initiatives to improve our predictive maintenance activities and other projects.
  • Management of technical operations centers all around the world. Focussing on: 
    • Innovation: Establish new ideas and initiatives to optimize our digital business
    • Standardization: Define global standards and certify TOCs 
    • Communication: Constant exchange with TOCs using various channels
    • Controlling: Target setting and support TOCs to reach KPIs

We Elevate... Your Best Self


  • Bachelors degree, preferably in engineering or business
  • Partecipant of Schindler career development program (SCDP) possible but not a prerequisit

Knowledge and experience:

  • Service operation experience prefered (e.g. service manager with close customer contact)
  • Extensive understanding of service business drivers, processes and metrics

Skills and Behaviours:

  • Very good communication skills (Skill to break drown complex issues and explain them to various different stakeholders)
  • Project management, analytical, data-driven, decision maker
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, SAP knowledge is prefered, PowerBI and MS flow is a plus

You as the global responsible for 27 Technical Operations Centers will drive and run global service fulfillment initiatives, develop innovative business cases around connected units and make sure they will be adapted in our local TOCs all around the globe.
