  • Implement and monitor, in concert with the Area Operations Manager, Area General Manager and Area Sales Manager - NI, the Installation process to ensure achievement of best-demonstrated practices in all areas of the NI business.
  • Implement programs and initiatives with all Territory NI Superintendents to achieve or exceed days to install (DTI) objectives on all 330A hydro, 3300 mid rise and 400A installations.
  • Initiate and attain quarterly BDP process and cost objectives, budget disciplines, asset management and headcount management to realize Area objectives.
  • Support Territory NI Superintendents in managing new installation processes of our entire portfolio to ensure conformance to customer, company and profit requirements.
  • Assume active role in recruitment and selection of field hourly construction employees, through the IUEC Apprenticeship Program. Responsible for development, training, morale, discipline and promotion of these employees in conjunction with their direct supervisor.
  • Provide lead role in assurance with compliance of collective bargaining agreement, grievance process and settlements, arbitration preparation and other labor issues.
  • Ensure all field hourly construction employees within the Territory have annual performance reviews completed.
  • Provide direction and support to ensure all field employees are trained and committed to Schindler quality initiatives and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain lead position in Territory on all safety issues related to New Installation processes and practices.

Mobility needs you

  • Bachelors or Associate degree in field related discipline, or equivalent experience. Project Management or Construction Industry Management related courses desired.
  • Five to ten years experience in elevator or related industry with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory position.
  • Computer Literate with working knowledge of Lotus Notes, Word, Excel and SAP.
