We Elevate... Your Responsibilities

Electronics, performing safety relevant functions, becomes more and more important for elevator systems and a key differentiator. We are looking for an experienced technical expert and leader who will drive the development actively with his/her strong technical background. The broad range and interest in different disciplines allows support in different topics. You plan and lead projects, coordinate tasks and communicate to our internal customers. You are actively involved in technical topics and support development of innovative functional safety embedded devices.


Further tasks include:

  • You drive the development of innovative functional safety devices in collaboration with system, hardware, and software teams
  • You collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders on analysing business requirements as well as directives and norms, specifying concepts, identifying, and specifying requirements, and preparing necessary documentation for approval with notified bodies
  • You establish and regularly update project plans, coordinate development tasks and release schedules, identify and track risks, manage dependencies to other teams and organizations and report progress to meet cost, schedule, and quality requirements
  • You lead and coordinate internal and external resources in functional safety

Further requirements may include:

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in electrical or similar engineering
  • Knowledge of functional safety and related processes and standards such as IEC 61508
  • Experience in project management and technical leadership
  • Ability to think broad to make clever decisions taking whole elevator system into consideration.
  • Used to work in small teams and appreciates to be involved in a broad field of activities.
  • Fluent English, German is a plus.
