We Elevate... Your Responsibilities

You play a key role in supporting our Patent Professionals in all administrative matters. This includes handling all incoming mail for patent matters, updating various databases, filing and maintenance of applications (priority, EP, national, international) etc. autonomously. Other tasks may include:

 

  • Handling and maintenance of national, European and international patent applications
  • Handling and maintenance of conflict files (oppositions and appeals before the EPO)
  • Assisting Patent Professionals in all administrative and other matters
  • Handling all incoming mail autonomously (noting due dates, keeping data up to date etc.)
  • Close monitoring and timely reminders to all parties involved regarding deadlines
  • Maintenance of the Administration Process Guidelines
  • Supporting Head Patent Administration and Head Patents for special tasks

You are a reliable team-player who is comfortable in working in an international environment and together with various stakeholders. Furter requirements may include:

 

  • Commercial degree in business administration, ideally with a further education in IP or general legal (CAS IP Paralegal or similar)
  • Knowledge or interest in patent (IP) procedures procedures before the EPO/WIPO
  • Knowledge or interest in different IP databases
  • Good working knowledge of German and English
