SUMMARY:

Oversees daily operations of shipping, receiving and inventory control for the Modernization Order Consolidation Center(OCC).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervision, Safety Management, Data Entry Management, Scheduling, Logistics and Carrier Coordination, Dependability, Reporting Skills, Analyzing Information, Dealing with Complexity, Deadline-Oriented, Time Management, Equipment Maintenance, Organizational Skills, In addition, it is required that the Warehouse Supervisor can perform all duties and responsibilities of the Warehouse Assocaiates.

Assist with selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.

Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to safety and storage design principles; recommending improvements.

Set up and communicate daily and weekly shipping schedule

Responsible for ordering supplies and equipmemt maintenance

Review, track, and measure shipping performance

Coordinate LTL carriers direct and Truck Load shipments with 3PL

Interact with Internal customers and field operations

Facilates all inbound and outbound freight for other departments in the building

Conduct daily team huddles

File Freight claims, MRNs, amd GCMs

Maintains inventory by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data

Manage rack audits

Asists with operational and safety training

Conducts Safety Site walks, Safety Walks, and NGFEs

Forklift Certification

Ensure facility is houskept, organized and material is safefly stored

Ability to work overtime or weekends if needed.

Assists Warehouse Associates when and as needed

Projects and other duties assisned

Review time cards and approve for payroll

GENERAL:

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT - Safety glasses and steel toed shoes, and long pants  are required at all times. Cut resistant gloves are required except for typing at compuer station or preparing paper work. The noise level can be loud. Ear Plugs are provided upon request.

QUALIFICATIONS - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE – Two year degree required. Two years experience in  Warehouse/Logistics/Distribution required Prior fork lift truck experience is required. Prior leadership expereice is prefered.

LANGUAGE ABILITY - Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATH ABILITY - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

COMPUTER SKILLS - SAP, MS Excel and Word, common email systems

PHYSICAL DEMANDS - While performing the duties the associate is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear; bend, stoop, and climb.

Associates are required to lift 40 pounds regularly and occasionally required to lift up to 100 pounds. The vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
