Manager of Digital Development (Location Flexible)
Mobility is the goal
- The position holder leads, shares, and researches the evolution of our digital technical learning environment.
- S/he will both oversee and create turn-key digital production content to drive next generation digital development and learning at SEC.
- S/he is responsible for the development, interface and production between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- S/he is responsible for the sourcing and management of third-party digital content development suppliers, consultants, and production firms.
- S/he will own the management of change within existing and new digital system tools and platforms, including documenting functional requirements, quality, testing, transitioning to operations, performance metrics, and the maintenance of digital assets.
Digital Solutions:

actively explore, present, and integrate new digital learning products at SEC
-
manage the production and end user e-tool experience

employ and manage third party digital development vendors and consultants

ensure digital solutions interface with existing LMS system and publishing solutions
-
support user development and integration of utilities, interfaces, and product solutions
Business Priorities:
- ensure all programs generated incorporate customer key performance indicator (KPI) drivers
- schedule and manage development to meet customer requirements and initiative deadlines
- lead program and development effort balance to support critical deliverables and timelines
- manage product performance and deliver reporting solutions to the organization
- evaluate product impact and develop continuous advancement strategies
Concept Development:
- ensure all new digital products and solutions incorporate user needs and stakeholder requirements
- integrate corporate brand, image and styling while pushing boundaries of conventional digital product design
- design and build creative storyline models/sketches for sharing concepts and securing approvals
- establish and maintain development process road map and contributor input requirements
- employ a consistent means of idea and storyline generation from customers and associates
Production:
- oversee development of educational modules on current and new platforms (Articulate, TalentCards, etc.)
- develop and manage project milestones to deliver on time, budget compliant solutions
- manage internal and external partner expectations, performance, and quality
- ensure product quality while creating learning that embraces end user perspectives and maximizes engagement
- prepare solutions for seamless integration with active corporate LMS system
Communication/Collaboraction:
- capture user feedback and prioritize development to meet learner needs
- interface with key stake holders and internal customers to determine product requirements
- engage with global partners and establish working relationships with international colleagues
- provide development updates and deliverable notifications to internal and external customers
- partner with business line/department subject matter experts in development processes
Mobility needs you
- Bachelors degree in Instructional Design or similar
- Professional Project Management (PMP) certification preferred
- Hands-on experience in educational development, digital, graphic design with an excellent understanding of the underlining concepts and strong demonstrated capabilities to promote rich learning programs.
- Expert knowledge of multi-media learning tools and platforms to cultivate, foster and grow an immersive digital learning environment. Sh/e must be well versed in learning styles and diverse methods to reach all learners through adaptive solutions, expanding and continuously measuring their needs and proficiencies.
- Proficient in leadership situations and communication through a full range of available analytics. S/he must organize clear, concise, and confident arguments in both informative and decision-making scenarios. Must have excellent written and creative abstract capabilities.
- Experience in evaluating future technologies, student learning desires and evolving market demands. Sh/e must actively research and lead integrating and developing innovative solutions that connect with current and lead future educational impact opportunities.
- Capable and adept at recognizing, respecting a promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace. Through direct actions and teamwork, sh/e must respect and conduct him/herself in an inclusive manor, incorporating same in workplace actions, solutions, and strategies.
