Materials Data Coordinator

 

Your Skills

The core responsibility of the Materials Data Coordinator is to execute on materials planning and strategic purchasing projects involving but not limited to the Spare Part Logistics materials team and the Maumee warehouse

  • Communicate with a wide range of stakeholders across Existing and New Installation, Supply Chain as well as the spare parts organization
  • Responsible for material data enrichment and metadata. 
  • Perform activities in support of materials management such as PO creation, first article inspections, make or buy implementations, project implementation
  • Communicate with Spare Part Logistics Buyers, Customer Service, and Engineering on a regular basis to ensure clarity and accuracy of information in SAP and the Spare Parts Catalog
  • A secondary supporting representative to the Centralized Planning Manager in the day-to-day operations of the Schindler Service Center (SSC) Maumee parts distribution warehouse.  They work closely with the 3PL’s on-sight management on execution of accurately recording and inputting material requirements
  • Collaborate with the SSC Strategic Buyer and the Centralized Planning Manager involving execution of strategic projects, data entry, and supporting administrative tasks
  • Assists RPO Materials Planning with evaluation of inventory in support of corrective actions regarding material master classification accuracy. 
  • Work with Engineering and the SSC team to perform and document First Article Inspections
 

Your Experience

Bachelor's Degree with a major of Business Admin, Logistics, Sales or Marketing preferred. 

 

Preferred Experience:

Data Entry SAP

Material Planning Experience

Data visualization techniques with MS PowerPoint
