Branch Manager - Field Operations

 

Your main responsibilities

     The Branch Manager- Field Operations would be responsible for executing the overall business strategy at his/her location resulting into continual improvement in Profitability, Safety, Quality, ROI, Employee morale, Customer Satisfaction and should also ensure compliances (statutory and/or Group).

 

 

Responsibility:

 

  • Accountable for the overall profitability of business operations
  • Build strategic interventions- Business, People, Processes etc.
  • Lead the complete branch functions including- NI Sales, AMC Sales, MOD Sales, NI Installation, Services etc.
  • Implement the Sales, Commercial, Financial, HR, Safety& Quality Company policy
  • Lead and monitor the day to day administrative functions of the branch activities and thus ensure continuous and smooth operations.
  • Prepare periodic and all critical MIS to facilitate the Top Management in rationale decision making.
  • Be the 'Face of the Company' with the external agencies and therefore display personal orientation and competence.
  • Ensure compliances and emphasize compliance to all legal and group norms including that for Code of Conduct
  • Co-ordinate with the internal customers to enhance Productivity, being First time Right, Timely delivery and improved Customer Satisfaction.
  • Preparing Location budgets with precision and monitor operations to avoid deviations.
  • Spearhead the Branch strategy on all fronts and thus ensure its competitiveness and achieve all business goals.
  • Anticipate the future, assess business environment including employee relations and manage situations prudently thereby ensuring unhindered business continuity.
  • Work with various product line managers to ensure conversion of strategy into results for his/her area.

 

      In addition to these, the employee is required to carry out all other duties as may reasonably be required.

 

 

      Environmental interactions:

  • Key Customers, Architects, Builders etc
  • Subcontractors,
  • Statutory agencies such as, PWD, Labour and Tax Departments.

We are looking out for someone very dynamic, ambitious and progressive who can lead the territory and its’ complete P&L including Sales, Service and Installation for her/ his area. The role would primarily defined by how you lead and support business strategy, people, customers and business results.

Schindler seeks people with:

Expertise Desired experience in positions leading teams with commercial and operational targets for at least five years.

Knowledge and Skills Desired P&L Management knowledge, safety procedures knowledge, Schindler Finance knowledge, IT skills, Team and Business management skills, customer relationship management, Schindler Leadership Framework behaviors required.

Education Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, MBA (Preferred)
