Service Manager

 
Mobility is the objective

Schindler are currently recruiting for a Service Manager to cover the outer London area.

This is a fast-paced role that is an imperative part of our business so requires an experienced and driven individual who thrives off not just meeting, but exceeding expectations.

The Service Manager is responsible for organising and managing a team of engineers, providing maintenance visits and breakdown cover for a defined customer portfolio, as well as being the primary point of contact of customers, ensuring complete customer satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Managing customer relationships
  • Optimising efficiency and productivity in the field by planning and managing the engineers’ workload
  • Meeting repair sales targets
  • Delivering the safety manifesto objectives
  • Safety and quality requirements and standards
  • Customer communication, contract retention and renewal
  • Business productivity, profitability, efficiency and cost management
  • Recruitment and team development

 

  • Proven experience working in a similar role ideally within the Lift/Escalator industry
  • Possess a solid track record in managing customer relationships and face to face customer service
  • Have proven experience managing field personnel
  • Have experience of P&L responsibility
  • Excellent technical and commercial awareness
  • Be an excellent communicator
  • Have the ability to multi-task
  • Be driven and enthusiastic
  • Be willing to travel (significant travel will be required to fulfil role)

 

 
 
Mobility needs you
  • Proven experience working in a similar role ideally within the Lift/Escalator industry
