Lead Sales Rep, LPD

Mobility is the goal


  • Lead the development and deployment of local market plans that increase our participation rate, expands our relationship into ideal customers, and create demand generation of opportunities within defined vertical segments
  • Win deals with full ownership and accountability of sales process, starting with project identification all the way thru deal closure and contract signing. Focus on (i) early engagement by developing and nurturing broad executive relationships that demonstrate ‘trusted advisor’ status; (ii) influencing customer requirements based on mastery of competitive landscape and methods to leverage; and (iii) strong negotiation and closing skills, to ensure high win rate and maximum price position


Business Development Tasks:

  • Develops strategies for establishing partnerships and business relationships to drive Large Project order intake (OiT).
  • Collaborates with internal departments, such as marketing, engineering, and operations in the development and implementation of sales pursuit plans that demonstrate competitive differentiation and create winning strategies.
  • Seeks out and researches projects with new and existing customers, through high sales call activity
  • Source, analyze, communicate and apply competitive data for competitive advantage to company.
  • Creates accounts plans to grow share of wallet with assigned accounts, highlighting industry drivers, business objectives, operational challenges and unique business value.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with new and existing owners, developers, consultants, general contractors and partners within focus on executive leaders, stakeholders and influencers.


Sales Executive Tasks:

  • Meet and/or exceed assigned sales objectives.
  • Identify and qualify opportunities through references, key customer contacts, industry information or reporting services which align with a Schindler overall business goals.
  • Master utilization of CRM platform for management of plans, pipeline, and sale activity
  • Own and lead customer presentation, estimating, scope review and proposal development phase of each opportunity; lead negotiation, contract development, and all required due diligence.
  • Lead the capture plan throughout the sales cycle bringing together and leveraging internal resources and/or local relationship owners to maximize the close potential.
  • This position can be seated in Atlanta, Charlotte or Nashville!

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Highly relational, ability to build rapport, exert personal influence
  • Solid disqualifier, negotiator and closer
  • Strong C-suite presentation skills; demonstrates professional polish, effective communications
  • Results oriented, action bias, energetic – sets goal, does the work, high activity levels
  • Strong understanding of P&L (translate SCH solutions into impact on CUST business)
  • Local geography and market knowledge



  • BA/BS/BE - business, engineering or a related field; MBA is a plus
  • 10 - 15 years of technical sales experience
  • 3 - 5 yrs. (min.) in large complex elevator projects
  • PC, CRM literate
  • Domestic travel (approximately 50%) is required
