Mobility is the goal

As a NFE, you will be required to be the technical lead on various projects, initiatives and jobsite visits.


The position includes designing, modifying, and/or applying components and systems/subsystems using engineering methods and techniques to meet specified technical objectives. 


Mobility needs you

Other responsibilities include but not limited to are:
• Plan and lead product design projects involving lower classified engineers and technical support personnel to meet specified technical objectives on time and within budget.

• Analyze and solve complex product design, application, manufacturing, installation and service problems.

• Create unique original product designs, which may be patentable.

• Analyze competitive product designs and recommend design changes to provide competitive advantage.

• Recommend product specification requirements to meet customer needs and company goals.

• Develop or revise defect prevention procedures or processes in product design or application.

• Analyze new technologies for potential application in elevator and escalator products.

• Prepare and conduct technical training courses for other organizations.

• Customize existing software and hardware to meet specific building needs

• Provide solutions to assigned safety, performance, cost, reliability, and maintenance problems

• Provide effective task management to meet project timelines and technical objectives

• Interface with multi-disciplinary and multi-functional teams

• Ability and willingness to mentor other engineers
