Director of Sales LPD

Mobility is the goal

This position is directly responsible for Large Project Sales for SEC.  Position will manage/oversee the sales cycle which includes, but is not limited to:

  • Management of the MS Dynamics (LPD CRM) pipeline
  • Ensuring traffic studies are completed to compliment cost position/support VE alternates
  • Ensuring comprehensive reviews of plans and specs are completed by product line subject matter experts
  • Managing the throughput of product line estimators
  • Collaborating with the Director of Operations – Large Project Division to ensure a sound cost position is established. 


In addition to these direct responsibilities, candidate will also be responsible for overseeing establishing and maintaining relationships with key decision makers at leading Contracting, Architectural and Consulting firms to support the ongoing identification and sale of large projects.

  • Successful candidate will be responsible for understanding and supporting large project sales efforts that meet or exceed budget. 
  • Successful candidate will work to identify leads and support the sales effort that best positions Schindler for success. 
  • Successful candidate must be familiar with all of Schindler’s product offerings and be able to present our value proposition to diverse audiences. 

Mobility needs you


Technical degree in Engineering - Bachelors degree

Sales/Marketing – Bachelors degree

MBA or similar is an asset for this position


7+ years of experience in large project sales
Good knowledge in elevator systems. [Application Engineering]
Practical experience in the field of high-rise elevators and large construction projects

Experience working in cross functional roles across direct/indirect reports
Experience in construction project cost calculations

An asset is knowledge in ASME A17.1 plus NYC code
