Executive Communication Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW:

  1. Lead Schindler’s “Corporate Storytelling” by understanding the overall company mission, vision, values, and strategies, and weave these themes into all internal and external communications.
  2. Develop overall communications plan, including frequency and cadence of important announcements, executive thought leadership topics, and company-wide messaging.
  3. Strategically align with other departments such as I&D, HR, Sustainability, and Safety; work with these departments as a content development partner to deliver consistent messaging across all channels
  4. Manage change communication as the organization undergoes necessary transformation in areas of technology, business services, and others.
  5. Be a “trusted advisor” to our leadership team; Align with our CEO and other “C-suite” executives on important themes, work with other members of the marketing and communications department to develop cohesive internal and external communications, quarterly townhall content, newsletters, and more. 

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

 

  • Develop and manage communications calendar and overall communications strategy
  • Work cross-functionally with Executive team and other departments to consolidate relevant content
  • Consistently work with communications team to weave important themes into all communications
  • Create content for executive thought leadership, including social media posts, webinars, & articles
  • Develop content for company-wide town halls and meetings
  • Be a liaison between local and Global teams to ensure consistency of messaging across company

 

 

Mobility needs you

  • Minimum of 5 years experience working in a mid-sized to larger company in a executive communications role.
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing (preferred but not required).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a MUST.
  • Attention to detail and high level of organization is required.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments in a mid-sized / larger organization.
  • Strong knoweldge using various social media platforms, and writing content.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of products - Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Outlook.
