Scope of responsibility
Participate in upfront labor, tooling and rigging estimates during the bidding and coordination process on Large Projects with 5500 series in the scope of work. Manage Manpower, coordinate logistics, material flow, upfront rigging plans, labor plans, safety initiatives and Lead QC/IMT/IMTL initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly responsible for managing 5500 series installations all large projects (sales>5M/units>15/5500) across the US.
  • Participate in National/Global workshops as needed to stay up to date on the latest installation methodologies.
  • Directly manage safety performance of all direct reports, communicate latest safety initiatives, enforce safety policies and ensure all Large Projects comply to SEC and OSHA standards.
  • Manage and Communicate QC findings with Group on all Large Projects.
  • Participate in sales efforts of Large Projects as needed.
  • Work with project management and supply chain to ensure material lead times are met.
  • Lead efforts to continuously improve installation methodologies.
  • Maintain Installation Master Trainer (IMT) status. 
  • Continuously manage and improve YOY field performance.

 

The successful candidate must have a demonstrated track record of performing the following:

  • Installation means & methods expert for product line
  • Demonstrated safety leader with pristine safety record
  • Proven leadership and execution on multiple large projects
  • Fluent in the Fulfillment Plus Execution process
  • Successfully worked with general contractors and local management on schedules, logistics, quality installations throughout multiple Large Projects.

Education

 

IUEC Journeyman/Lead Adjuster

Technical degree

Associates degree

Bachelor’s Degree  

 

Experience

10+ years of experience in large projects (installer/foreman/superintendent) in multiple locations throughout the US.
Good knowledge in Mid-Rise elevator systems.
Practical experience in the field of Mid-Rise elevators and large construction projects

Experience working in cross functional roles across direct/indirect reports
An asset is knowledge in ASME A17.1 plus NYC code

 

Skills

MS Office, PNC, SAP, FieldLink

Strong written and verbal communication

Coaching & mentoring of direct reports

Managing internal processes

Computer skills - Microsoft Office, MS-Project, PNC, SAP and FieldLink.

Ability to develop and maintain positive, cooperative, team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers, clients and others in contact with the job

 

Special Requirements

Travel 60-70% - mostly domestic with limited international
