Mobility is the goal

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Oversee major project bid development, execution and management in the transit sector
  • Manage a direct team or work with segment leaders to ensure project deliverables are achieved across NI, Modernization and Service projects in transit space
  • Manage transit bid pipeline
  • Develop and execute a contract execution strategy to ensure positive customer experience and satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain strong commercial relationships with key customers and influential industry stakeholders (consultants, unions, procurement groups) consultants through personal contact and staff assignments
  • Develop and implement sustainable BDP programs for field installation and service cost improvements
  • Administer effective utilization of parts inventory, company tools, vehicles and fixed assets to manage cost
  • Assist where required in corporate risk mitigation strategies
  • Develop and recommend administrative, field and marketing budgets within approved budget limitations
  • Create a participative environment for management of labor relations with local business agents and field engagement
  • Develop and execute annual branch business plan in support of Territory operational, financial and non-financial objectives

Master's degree (M. A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior Engineering or Business or Sales Management experience required preferably with a Technical or Engineered product.


Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyzes, and interpret common technical/financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.  Ability to effectively present information to shop floor employees, top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.


Math Ability:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.


Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.


Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint, SAP or other enterprise software.


Certificates and Licenses:

No certifications needed. 



Moderate (>25%) domestic travel is required.  Additional travel may be required.
