National Escalator Sales Manager

The National Escalator Sales Manager is responsible for developing and managing the Sales strategy to achieve financial objectives for the New Installation Escalator, Moving Walk, and InTruss Modernization products.
This position is the key driver of Sales, Pricing and Processes related to Escalators and Moving walks within the US Business Unit.
The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills to confidently guide the Sales organization to achieve results through a matrix environment by influencing other key functional groups (e.g. Esc PLM, Marketing, Engineering, Field and Group). They will be required to prioritize their work and time to balance the on-going Escalator sales pipeline along with strategic projects. In this role it is essential to work across business lines within SEC and Globally within the ESC Division.

Sales Management & Analytics
• Drive day-to-day sales pipeline and activities to ensure that the Field Organization (Territory Sales Managers and sales representatives) executes to the yearly Sales Budgets.
• Provide analysis and report monthly, quarterly and yearly pricing trends, market share, revenue and profitability for Escalator products.
• Set pricing and go to market strategy of Escalator products
Sales Product Management
• Provide inputs to the Esc. PLM to drive the strategy of Escalator products
• Gather relevant information through research, analytics, training, VOC, VOE, product benchmarking, and other methods.
• Create detailed market specification documents and perform business case analysis for products and features demanded by the market
• Organize, present and gain organizational acceptance for a clearly defined sales and product strategy
Sales & Marketing Support and Processes
• Ensure timely implementation and resolution of Sales related issues to support business needs (lead times, custom applications)
• Support custom application estimates, specification & drawing reviews as required
• Schedule, Coordinate and Conduct on-going and new product Sales training
• Maintain/Update Marketing information (sales brochures, internet, intranet)
• Assess and create/improve processes, methodologies, presentations and tools to support US sales managers & direct sales force.
Customer interface (internal and external)
• Work with Territory Sales Managers and Sales Reps daily regarding future and ongoing sales opportunities. Participate in customer presentations to various consulting, transit, general contracting, and property management groups. Participate with FO on job specific estimating, order entry, and project management. Leverage existing relationships with Elevator Consultants, Developers, and Property Managers to ensure proliferation of product line.
People development
Coach/mentor/train sales representatives on product features, estimating, and unique selling features of Schindler brand escalators and moving walks.
