Senior Electrical Engineer R&D

Mobility is the goal

Senior Engineer R&D with Schindler Elevator Corporation at the Randolph, NJ office will perform the following responsibilities:

  • Research, develop, and design technical solutions for elevator products (components, subsystems including system integration aspects).
  • Define technical requirements and execute new design tasks.
  • Implement product cost reductions.
  • Plan assigned projects and tasks as per defined specification, time and budget.
  • Execute necessary calculations according to A17.1 code and Schindler rules.
  • Apply defined CAD/CAE and Schindler development rules.
  • Document products with various tools including CAD/CAE, SAP, PDM, and MS-Office and Intranet tools.
  • Lead assigned projects or tasks within product scope.
  • Support activities for efficiency improvements and best demonstrated practice.

Mobility needs you


Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical or Systems Engineering, or other related engineering field of study. 

Plus 24 months of work experience in the offered or related alternate occupations. 

In lieu of the primary requirements, employer will accept Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in the listed field of study; plus 60 months of experience in the offered position or related alternate occupations.
