Jardine Schindler Group (JSG) is a joint venture between Jardine Matheson (est.1832) and Schindler Group (est.1874). JSG is specialized in design, engineer, install, maintain, and modernize elevators, escalators and moving walkways in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Vietnam, the Philippines, Macau, Myanmar, Brunei and Cambodia. On average, 100 million people throughout the Asia Pacific regions will be transported by equipment supplied and maintained by JSG on any given day.
Field Engineer Development Program (FEDP) - This is two (2) years on the job program that trainees will be exposed in various technical aspects of Schindler's operations by job rotation to different job sites and projects. It also includes mentoring, coaching, sustainability, and charity events that will provide them broad exposure to the Schindler business. As the result, we develop the technical experts who will become future Technical Leaders.

We Elevate... Your Responsibilities
- Learn from ground up, firstly as an NI technician installing a new Schindler product line and later servicing the portfolio as an EI technician.
- Receive classroom and on-the-job training to learn Schindler's latest products and technology and acquire technical skills, learning from ground up.
- FEDP will go through the next on-the-job development cycle working on another product line. In each cycle, classroom training, e-Learning and on-the-job training for the product line will be provided in the OC and/or by Group.
- Carry out safety inspections to identify unsafe work practices and/or conditions within responsible work areas/activities, report and follow up to ensure correction and prevention.
- Carry out Safety Walks on the frontline workers under their responsibility.
- Ensure all SH policies, control and procedures are communicated and followed strictly by sub-contractors and workers.
- Ensure all tools, equipment & machinery have been maintained and defective tools, equipment & machinery are secured against unintended use.
- Report all injuries, accidents and/or dangerous occurrences.
