Your main responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities

  • To implement Safety Management System and process in the Company and evaluate it effectiveness in order to provide Schindler employees with a safe and healthy working environment, with specific focus on the assigned sizeable installation project
  • Ensure the Safety Management system is well implemented within the Company and to train and develop personnel for succession
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements on Health & Safety
  • Planning, organizing and conducting health & safety related training program
  • Maintaining and implementing Safety Management System within the Company
  • Act as the Safety Representative of Safety & Health Management of the Company
  • Responsible for implementing in health & safety promotion and improvement within the Company
  • Liaise with Fulfilment Team to prepare method statement and risk assessment for project / task as well as the safety documents preparation for New Installation / Modernization projects
  • Coordinate OSHAS18001 / F& IU Audit
  • Conduct contractual safety audit for the clients
  • Support both Existing Installation & New Installation safety
  • Produce regular reports and conduct analysis whenever necessary
 

What you bring

Requirements

  • Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline
  • Attainment of Registered Safety Officer (RSO) issued by Labour Department of HKSAR Gov.
  • Solid safety audit experience at site
  • With working experience in Elevator & Escalator Industry is preferable
  • Good Hazard Identification and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and strong negotiation and contingency handling skills
  • Good command of English and Chinese
