Commercial Business Partner 

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Commercial Business Partner to the Team, based out of Addlestone Office. We are looking for an exceptional individual with proven operational and sales-support experience to join our commercial organisation, and assume the responsibility for providing bid commercial, governance and dispute management support with a primary focus on the Existing Installations business, but also other areas requiring commercial expertise. This role will be responsible for managing pre-contract negotiations, developing work-winning opportunities and managing risks in a balanced way. This will encompass a broad range of interactions with both internal and external stakeholders, providing guidance, assistance, legal, technical and commercial inputs/training (including supporting the development and enhancement of the pricing model) and leading negotiations.The successful candidate will work closely with Sales, Legal and Field Operations (FO), ensuring best practice is demonstrated at all times.This role is an excellent chance for you to expand your existing skills in a large, global organisation within a territory that gets a lot of attention from the Europe Zone it reports into, as well as the Group Top Management This is a full time and permanent role.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven track record of operational commercial know-how managing complex contract arrangements and disputes
  • Technical expert, role holder will be educated to at least BSc or equivalent full technical standard, with commercial experience and of working closely with Legal
  • Demonstrate experience of estimating service delivery / project costs, and presenting high quality tender documents to customers
  • Demonstrate experience of managing Health & Safety compliance including CDM requirements
  • Preferably a minimum of 5 years’ experience operating at a senior level within the commercial environment in the maintenance and/or construction industry.
  • Knowledge of key Pre-construction procedures, e.g., Procurement, Planning and Contracts
  • Demonstrate IT literacy capability including full literacy with Microsoft Office suite
  • Actively pursues, and makes the most of, customer networking and business development opportunities
  • Seen as an expert in own area of functional/technical expertise; ownership of statutory reporting competence
