NI/MOD Product Line Co-ordinator

We are currently recruiting for a NI/MOD Product Line Co-ordinator to join our NI Sales/Product Line Management Team based at our Addlestone Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and organising resources to ensure that due dates for offers, projects and other actions are met simultaneously. They will maintain detailed knowledge of the company’s products, processes, tools and services and possess a customer centric approach when providing support to internal and external customers. This is full time and permanent position.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support salesperson, in offer/configurations to resolve inconsistencies to provide best solution to the customer
  • Support and solving issues on sales tools: lift configurator (ANC), offer letter, layout and etc
  • Perform accurate SAP order booking, according to the required process in line with approved drawing and finishes, deliver up-to-date configuration with salesperson
  • Support standard (CtO) layout modification via SchindlerDraw software
  • Document control - customer portal management
  • Support and coordinate salespersons for non-custom escalator and moving walk projects 
  • Manage and maintain NI sales tools up to date: Market layer, offer letter, layout template, PDT (Plan & design tool)
  • Perform as a configuration expert to support sales configuration, support CP testing, and maintain rep. configuration
  • Develop and maintain manuals, instruction guide for NI/MOD tools and processes for future reference
  • Sales and marketing tool management: Intranet page, brochure, sample (define and order support), sales handbook and PDT
  • Train/refresh for new/existing salesperson for configuration tool to develop understanding and knowledge
  • Support product update communication in association with product line manager
  • Manage enquiries from internal customers via various channel: Crowd Knowledge tool, MS Teams and etc
  • Compile and distribute Ad hoc reports as requested
  • Any other product line management-related activity that the business deems reasonable 
  • Pricing management and market analysis coordination (product and market requirements)
  • All employees are required to work in accordance with established Company Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and Schindler Core Values to ensure compliance with current UK legal Requirements and Schindler Group Safety Requirements 
  • Employees are required to attend all relevant Training Sessions
  • Employees are required to carry out all works in accordance with the Company’s Quality Corporate Policy
  • Employees will be required to contribute to the Company’s Safety Objectives, where necessary by maintaining/monitoring current safety systems under their direct control and implementing agreed changes (where applicable) to its Safety Management System
 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven relevant work experience, graduate calibre preferred
  • Able to quickly grasp commercial and process concepts and to appreciate the necessary level of detail required.
  • Able to learn quickly about Schindler products, processes, codes & standards and strategy and to implement and adhere to them.
  • Excellent mechanical knowledge will be a valuable and important asset, lift industry field experience (lift components and building interface) would be beneficial.
  • Willing to challenge current practices in an endeavour to find and propose improvements that benefit the dept., customers and company.
  • Enthusiastic, driven and self reliant
  • Good general PC skills (SAP/Word/Excel, including use of formulae)
  • Skilful communicator with high level of organisational skills
  • A strong team player who will work together with others to ensure effective use of resource
  • Works well under pressure and to tight deadlines
