We Elevate... Your Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:


  • Promote, motivate and coordinate the activities of the NI Installation Managers in order to meet business objectives including forecasting, labour planning, shared solutions and problem solving.

  • DMS: Data Management System
  • Promote the optimization of the staff in NI, planning the needs (workload & training).
  • Coordinate the preparation and execution of works in NI, optimize work groups, tools and the necessary means to achieve the objectives of performance, productivity and quality of work.
  • Ensure the application of safety and health standards.
  • Actively manage, develop and train the team to meet the objectives of quality, productivity, efficiency and customer orientation.
  • Analyse the causes of deviations, establish corrective actions and follow up.
  • Promote, motivate, coordinate and activities of the NI Installation Managers, in order to deliver the Schindler objectives.
  • Coordinate the development and execution of all work, optimise the work-groups, tools and means to meet the objectives.
  • Control the application of the safety and health guidelines
  • Actively manage, develop and coach staff (customer orientation, quality, productivity, efficiency, etc)
  • Analyse root causes for deviations and set up corrective actions
  • Plan and execute work procedures, including Project Execution Process, Project schedule, Work Breakdown Structure, and resource planning through all the project phases
  • Develop and maintain schedules and establish control measures through weekly reviews and active coordination to prevent delays and keep projects on schedule.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets and control project cost
  • Ensure project billings are current and accurate, and review supplier invoices to ensure accuracy and coding to proper accounts.
  • Forecast monthly revenue, monthly financial reporting and client invoicing

  • Management, control and monitor project performance and update SAP and Project Planner to ensure all major project milestone dates are met
  • Communication, good presentation skills and good communicator with customers, superiors and subordinates
  • Leadership, able to set examples for all team members in areas of personal character, commitment, organisational and installation skills, and work habits
  • Finance, financial acumen
  • Legal, code & standard knowledge
  • Mobility, available to travel within the UK
  • Proficient in MS Office and MS Project
  • Knowledge of SAP reporting functions
  • Ability to chair and effectively steer large meetings
  • Ability to manage a team and to work within a team framework
  • Good communication skills – articulate and a compelling presenter
  • Ability to swiftly appraise all types of information for completeness
  • Reasoning and problem-solving skills – with ability to think laterally
  • Thorough knowledge of design and construction processes
  • Project management/supervision, commercial, technical and installation background with ability to translate specification & construction issues into workable solutions
  • 3–5 years’ Site management experience
  • Certification in Project Management; Prince 2 or PMP certification preferred
  • Proven Project Management experience
  • UK Driver Licence
