Project Supervisor

 

Your main responsibilities

As a Project Supervisor you will integrate the department responsible for our New Installations. The department is charged with projects such as the installation or replacement of new elevators and escalators in all types of buildings. Specifically, you will integrate the team responsible for the coordination of Large Projects. You will work with clients responsible for buildings such as train stations, airports, shopping malls and more. Your responsibilities will be the following:

 

  • Operational Project Management:
    • Plan and oversee all stages of assigned projects, ensuring execution within the agreed timelines and budgets.
    • Handle the technical complexities of projects and ensure the implementation of secure and compliant solutions.
    • Supervise field teams to ensure flawless technical execution.
  • Client Communication and Progress Reporting:
    • Maintain regular communication with clients about project progress.
    • Ensure client expectations are met through effective collaboration with internal teams.
  • Internal Coordination:
    • Work closely with internal departments, including technical design, procurement, quality, safety, and finance, to ensure smooth project execution aligned with Schindler standards.
    • Oversee and coordinate the implementation of solutions, focusing on the safety of equipment and involved teams.
 

What you bring

We are looking for a dynamic and communicative individual with the following skills:

  • Languages: Proficiency in Dutch and French (written and spoken).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Knowledge of electromechanics, project management, and financial management (budget tracking).
    • Understanding of technical specifications for products and building systems (electricity, fluids, etc.).
    • Ability to manage technically complex projects and ensure their safety.
  • Personal Qualities:
    • Organized, solution-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
    • Natural leadership and strong team spirit.
    • Flexible and determined to meet objectives.
    • Excellent communication skills with both clients and internal teams.
