Supply Chain Manager

 

We Elevate... Your Responsibilities

  1. Provide an overall strategy for the company to provide optimum logistical practices while minimizing costs and reducing losses.
  2. Setting strategies for country activity.
  3. Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
  4. Communicate operational performance and educate direct reports in order to enhance revenue, cost control, asset utilization, as well as customer satisfaction.
  5. Ensure that the logistics functions are effectively staffed, organized, and managed so that it can achieve their agreed objectives.
  6. Ensure precise and punctual planning and budgeting for the logistical functions including capacity, inventory, and distribution planning so that they have sufficient resources to achieve their agreed objectives.
  7. Participation in development and implementation of new Procurement Tools.
  8. Confirm supplier sourcing alternatives (and shipping disciplines if applicable) identified by Purchasing Manager.
  9. Appraise vendor manufacturing ability through on-site visits and measurements.
  10. Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders. Tracking products through the warehouses to make sure they arrive at their destination.
  11. Setting up of effective management tools, volume report, savings, performance measurement.
  12. Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
  13. Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.
  14. Identify opportunities to reuse or recycle materials to minimize consumption of new materials, minimize waste, or to convert wastes to by-products.
  15. Audit the capacity and quality of contracted suppliers.
  16. Perform audits for new suppliers to assess manufacturing activities and logistics.

Education and Specialty:

  • Bachelor degree of any relevant field

 

Specific Training and Qualification:

  • Advanced English
  • Industry Experience
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Excellent Communication Skills (both verbal and written)
  • Knowledge of the competition, sector and business (Product and Logistics).

Experience Required:

8+ years’ experience in a similar position.      .
