Configuration Engineer - Lifts Modernisation

About the role:

As a Configuration Engineer - Lifts Modernisation, you will work closely with the National Business Development Manager and wider team to drive the Modernisation sales across the Auckland & Northern Region area. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Surveying of the existing units and configuring proposed solutions
  • Design solutions for modernising lifts
  • Develop, foster and support good relationships with existing and new customers
  • Monitor the market/existing customer base and identify/drive sales opportunities 
  • Support the sales team with preparing tenders and submissions
  • Assist with other elevator/escalator related topics may also be required (presentation proposals, customer visitations etc)
 

What we are looking for:

  • Strong proven experience in the lift industry
  • Strong customer orientation 
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail coupled with good time management and organisation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • NZ Driving Licence
  • You must have New Zealand Work Rights (Permanent Residency, New Zealand Citizenship, Australian Citizenship, or a work visa).
