Logistic Officer

Mobility is the goal

  • Ensure alignment and implementation of corporate purchasing strategies concerning production, Non-Production Materials and Services, e-Procurement, Spare Parts, organization, tools, and systems.
  • Managing supply base (including Global Contract Suppliers), leading strategic negotiations, contracting, assuring supply security and cost competitiveness.
  • Build up and lead a national purchasing organization; develop and implement most appropriate organization, staffing, training, and development.
  • Manage the warehouse inventory to reach target availability and net working capital level.
  • Manage the spare parts order processing.
  • Manage the logistics of internal sales and sales to affiliates.
  • Provide logistic support to the Branches.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to the logistics of spare parts.
  • Manage physical goods received.
  • Pick parts according to picking lists.
  • Pack parcels according to picking list and prepare for shipping.
  • Count physical inventory.
  • Communicate with suppliers & Freight Forwarder about shipment mode and better rates. 
  • Negotiate with Freight Forwarder about best rates
  • Follow shipment with suppliers and Freight Forwarder.
  • Follow with customs broker for releasing shipment from customs & follow with Transportation broker for shipment delivery. 
  • Deliver orders to site or warehouse, depending on requester and shipment nature. 
  • Update requester in every stage. 
  • Issue & update shipments report

 

Mobility needs you

Education and Specialty:

  • Bachelor’s Degree of Business or any relevant major

 

Specific Training and Qualification:

  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong understanding of Logistics systems and countries regulations

 

Experience Required:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.
