Accounting Analyst

Mobility is the goal

The Accounting Analyst is mainly responsible for the construction invoicing and banking functions. He/She will also support the Head of Accounting and Reporting in various projects as assigned.

 

Billing

  • Ensure New Installation and Modernization Department job estimates, and change orders are correctly entered in SAP
  • Issue and create Department invoicing
  • Liaise with Branch personnel to ensure billing request complies with Schindler’s Accounts Receivable policies
  • Process close-out of new installation and modernization jobs including documentation and complete corresponding processes (for example, New Product Service set-up in SAP)
  • Generate monthly inter-company invoices

 

Banking

  • Execute banking functions including EFT/wire payment, remittance of source deductions, transfer of electronic data to financial institution, and customer pre-authorized payment
  • Reconcile bank and other general ledger accounts on a regular basis

 

Finance Support

  • Assist in ensuring the accuracy of the Company's accounting records and maintain appropriate internal controls over those records
  • Provide support to Accounts Receivable Department in resolving customer billing issues and daily cash application
  • Assist in annual audit tasks
  • Assist in monthly portfolio reports update, A/R provision, and other areas of finance as requested
  • Assist in annual archiving of finance records
 

Mobility needs you

  • Post Secondary degree in accounting or finance or related experience in a similar role
  • Enrolment in CPA program
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • SAP knowledge
  • Analytical: Ability to analyze data to develop job costing
  • Communication: Good written and verbal communications skills
  • Detail Oriented: Ability to follow detailed, established procedures
  • Organization: Possess excellent organizational skills
  • Problem Solving: Ability to solve problems independently and collaboratively

The budgeted salary range for this role is $56,825 to $71,031.  Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant qualifications, certifications, experience, geographic location and organizational needs.
