Technical Lead- INFRA Projects (Manager to AGM)

 

We Elevate... Your Responsibilities

  1. Understanding the Technical requirements from sales and Infra projects.
  2. Reading the Infra Tenders Requirements of Elevators & Escalators.
  3. Understanding of the product lines available in the company both Electrical & Mechanical.
  4. Raising of Query to Infra customers based on the tenders for clarifications.
  5. Preparation of compliance and deviations with respect to tender requirements.
  6. Preparation of non-standard BOM, cost and providing the inputs to Infra Estimation team.
  7. Co-ordinating with other teams for development of non-standard solution in case of highly complex requirements and reverting back to Sales, estimation, infra teams with solution and offer/costing.
  8. Very good hands on variant configuration
  9. Analyse codes, understand customer requirements, technology & process of manufacturing, methods of installation & maintenance.
  10. Handle queries raised or support Field with respect to technical question on Infra tender projects.
  11. Optimization of solutions, so that non-standard requirements are provided at lower cost.
    Working on SAP, Excel Tools, other OEM based tools for performing the day to day work.
  12. Handling a team of Infra Application Engineers. Monitoring the productivity, VFO and managing the team's deliverables.
  13. Support actively for cross-functional tasks.
  14. Fulfil assigned responsibilities according to BSC, apply corporate procedures, ON's & internal guidelines.
  15. Responsible for quality, on time delivery, documentation for each application engineering activities during , know-how of document creation & storage as per ISO requirement.

Support actively in application engineering activities for before non-std. order booking, after order booking and elevators car and shaft Layouts.

Education & Qualification
  1. Masters, B.E Mechanical or B.E Electrical
  2. Exposure to Auto cad, 5DBIM is an advantage.

Professional experience

  1. Min. 10 to 15 years of experience in Elevator Industry.
  2. Preference for candidate in Infra Tender, Public Transport projects from Elevator industry.

Additional skills & competencies

  1. Knowledge on elevator & escalator working and functioning is preferrable.
  2. Understanding of IS 14665, EN-81 elevators code knowledge is must.
  3. Knowledge on mechanical, electrical components working and functioning is must.
  4. Ability to work in the teams & managing performance of teams.
  5. Communication skills to handle the interdepartmental & intradepartmental communications.
  6. Ability to learn new skills & acquire knowledge.
  7. Professional behaviour.
  8. Good English communication is must.
  9. Networking skills within & outside the company.
