Jardine Schindler Group (JSG) is a joint venture between Jardine Matheson (est.1832) and Schindler Group(est.1874). JSG is specialized in design, engineer, install, maintain and modernize elevators, escalators and moving walkways in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Vietnam, the Philippines, Macau, Myanmar, Brunei and Cambodia. On average, 100 million people throughout the Asia Pacific regions will be transported by equipment supplied and maintained by JSG on any given day.

Recruitment Specialist/ Team Lead

Mobility is the goal

  • Provide full support for JSG across the 12 operating countries of JSG
  • Be a solid business partner with our stakeholders to understand and identify recruiting needs
  • Own the full recruitment process for regional and local roles from identifying candidates through to offer
  • Liaise with in-country talent acquisition team from different countries to follow up closely on recruitment status and to provide support when needed
  • Develop, execute, and monitor online candidate search campaigns using a variety of internet based resources
  • Think outside the box with original ideas on how we can attract and maintain talent using Job Boards and Social Media channels
  • Search diversity databases and available ATS ( SuccessFactors ) and Job Boards systems for potential talent – internet research utilizing search engines, and available tools
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of candidates for pivotal roles in the business relying on strong internal relationships to execute speculative business interviews
  • Be an expert in identifying effective recruiting trends, understand how they align with JSG’s business priorities and develop a case to push ideas forward
  • Conduct competitive analysis to understand hiring needs and recruiting practices of talent competitors
  • Be involved in projects which help to drive the wider Shared Service Centre’s agenda
  • Support full-cycle recruitment which includes: job description development, job posting, sourcing, interviewing, reference checks and offer negotiation
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through pro-active market research, sourcing and on-going relationship management
  • Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and build a robust talent pipeline
  • Establish strong partnerships with hiring teams to quickly assess business needs, determine candidate profile and launch a thorough hiring strategy
  • Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification. Possess strong ability to screen, interview and prepare an ideal candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline

  • Able to assess staffing needs and develop creative and effective recruiting strategies to meet those needs
  • Aptitude in assessing intangible aspects of candidates accurately
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and work with all levels of management

Experience

  • Prior agency recruitment and/or full-cycle recruiting experience in-house, search firm and/or RPO setting would be advantageous.
  • Open to candidates with minimum 3 - 5 years of recruitment/talent acquisition experience, with strong social recruiting footprints.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
