Service Manager - Lift service and repairs

About the role

As a Service Manager you will be leading the existing installation (services and repairs) component of Schindler in one of the areas of Auckland. Your key to success will be ability to understand technical and operational concepts within the Building/Facilities industries. You will display leadership skills, as well as a keen focus on customer service. Your role will require you to provide guidance, direction and coordination of all field staff and be organised in all aspects of the service operations. 

 

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in a similar role

  • Experience in the vertical transportation industry would be preferable

  • Fully qualified NZ electrician preferred

  • Ability to work in NZ

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Effective leadership skills and a customer focus

  • Ability to identify problems and take action

  • Working knowledge of computers and systems (excel, word, SAP databases etc)

  • Ability to work at pace and manage conflicting priorities
