Executive - Safety & Health(Infra TRD)

 

Your main responsibilities

  • To assist Senior, SHE Manager in fulfilling the tasks / responsibilities
  • Provide support to the project team for implementation of project SHE plans.
  • Monitor SHE Performance of the personnel and activities under his control.
  • Establish a consultation and communication system with all employees and subcontractors.
  • Ensure the competence of all its employees and is to verify in accordance with safety standards laid down.
  • Ensure induction Training for all Employees and workers before commencement of work at site and subsequently for new employees.
  • Undertake Regular safety check at site.
  • Provide leadership, planning and motivation in the implementation of health, safety and loss control.
  • In consultation with Project management & SHE manager, regularly review safe work procedures.
  • Establishing a monitoring regime to ensure that unsafe systems, places or practices are identified and remedied at the earliest.
  • Ensure that all - reportable accidents and serious incidents are reported to Project Management and others as per project requirement.
  • Carry out a detailed investigation of major accidents / incidents including near miss on site and convey the findings to all to prevent the recurrence of such type of accidents / incidents in future.
  • Manage and organize the general activities of site safety and give guidance to the team.
  • To conduct safety – training programs as per the guidelines.
  • To own & control the activities related to SHE.
  • Any other work which is being assigned by reporting manager to meet the project / company requirements

  1. Degree in Science / Diploma in Engineering with Govt. recognized safety diplomas from Correspondence course of NICMAR, Annamalai University, National and State Productivity Councils, Other State Technical Education Boards etc.
  2. Any Graduate or diploma holder with 5 years of work experience in full fledged SHE department of any Public Sector / Leading Private Sector / MNC / with prior approval of employer on a case to case basis
