Product Safety Inspector

 

Your main responsibilities

Role: A product safety supervisor is the person who examines the Quality of Elevator / Escalator post the installation to examine the set quality standards are being met. He/she will also be responsible for conducting timely audits for elevators/escalators which are under active portfolio of the branch.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Interaction and co-ordination with the Installation personnel for conduction of SAIS test for certification of elevators (SAIS Test –Schindler Acceptance Inspection Standards) – The test is conducted for all Schindler Elevators after installation and commissioning of the elevator to certify its requirements to Schindler standards.

• Interaction and co-ordination with the maintenance team for conduction of CPSI test for certification of elevators (CPSI Test is a process to pg. 54 standardize, consolidate and document safety inspection requirements and practices for all Schindler elevators after every 5 years of operation

• Ensuring and reporting of all non – conformities which have been found at the time of SAIS and CPSI before closing the certification of the elevator .
