Regional MOD Sales - Manager

 

Your main responsibilities

Role: Regional MOD Sales Manager

 

Responsible for deploying the sales strategy to achieve the sales objectives, reliability and customer satisfaction and profitability. Would be responsible overlooking the modernization sales for the region resulting in increase in revenue, good quality, safety, employee productivity and customer satisfaction.

 

The Regional Sales Manager creates added value through the supervision of the modernization sales force and the prosecution of escalation requests to meet the regional targets and increase market share.

 

Business

  • Responsible for driving the Modernization of Elevator & Escalator Sales of the region with the key metrices:
    - Sales Strategy
    - Market Share
    - Profitability
    - Customer Satisfaction
    - Sales Efficiency
  • People Development - Select, Hire and Organize trainings of MOD field sales representatives & team managers. Groom and coach next line of sales managers.
  • CRM: Implement framework of NPVs to ensure high levels of customer engagement through team. Also visits high potential accounts to build strategic partnerships.
  • CX: Set up regional framework to Provide timely information & coordination with all the functions ensuring smooth and effective business operations in the region leading to customer satisfaction.
  • Localization of KG Strategy and implementation - Build Localized Strategy as per States and prepare a robust execution model for the growth of the business. Implement all sales policies and procedures with respect to Resource Manager, Project Management, Account Management and complete Sales operation.
  • Drive Modernization governance model effectively to review Modernization business for assigned branches in the region.
  • Market Assessment (i.e. Understanding Market Size & Requirements, Future needs for market, these form inputs for New Product Development.
  • Develop Key Account Strategy & Implement Actions to improve Share of Wallet (Focus on Regional Top-10 Accounts)
  • Continuous monitoring of market trends and quarterly revisiting of competition mapping to ensure execution of sales strategy.
  • Monitoring of P&L for Modernization business by ensuring profitable growth, Account Receivables and other key parameters to support regional objectives.
  • Attending customer meeting with sales team at regular intervals.
  • Handling major project accounts.
  • Travelling across all the branches under the region at regular interval.

 

People

  • Sets objectives and targets for his team in line with the region objectives & company guidelines.
  • Build and enhance the team work culture.
  • Stakeholder management – building a strong relationship with P&L heads.
  • Supervise the sales representative and Deputy sales managers to achieve the assigend regional targets.
  • Assesses skills and competency for his team and uses various intervention like coaching, on the job training and classroom training in coordination with modernization Vice President and Regional Vice President..

What we need?

  • Looking for 10 -12 years of experience into Project Management/ Sales Construction, into a leadership capacity, preferably from an MNC dealing into building material/ heavy equipment industry
  • Candidate with good understanding of Sales, having and understanding of manpower planning, capacity planning & forecasting.
  • Desired knowledge in elevator and escalators industry, People Management skills, Organization and Planning skills, Selling skills, Customer Relationship Management.
  • Should be a strategic thinker, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Candidate with good understanding of portfolio management, price, contract fulfillment, efficiency.
  • Should have strong understanding application of the safety and health guidelines.
  • Good to have knowledge of P&L
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics)
