What you can expect from us:

In this job position, you are responsible for gathering, analyzing, and communicating competitive insights to inform strategic decisions and enable internal teams. This role combines research, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen market positioning and support product and sales strategies. Understanding how our solutons fit into a changing market and competitor landscape. Your tasks include, in particular:  

1) Research and data gathering:
- establish / maintain Market Intelligence Framework and competitive analysis structures
- regularly collect and synthesize information from a wide range of sources, including competitor websites, social media, patent databases, and market research

2) Reporting: 
- develop and maintain dashboards, benchmarks, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders and synthezise this information into actionable insights to support the Sales Gateways in the key markets
- lead the development and maintenance of the reporting platform

3) Competitive analysis: 
- analyze competitor products and pricing against the market position, where feasible      

4) Internal enablement: 
- create resources like "battle cards" and differentiation guides to help sales and marketing teams understand and counter competitor strategies in terms of product offering

5) Collaboration: 
- work with various departments, such as product development, marketing, and sales, to integrate competitive intelligence into their strategies, roadmaps and market requirements for new products (MTP planning and PCP market requirement specifications and business case)

6) Strategy: 
- support on product improvements and overall product strategy by providing inputs from market and competitors intelligence and work with GTM Owner on the marketing requirements based on competitive landscape

7) Marketing: 
- feed insights to the Content Marketing Team, Sales Enablement manager, and Sales Gateways to ensure messages in marketing and sales collatoral are aligned to product "sweet spots" and help to manage how to address "sour spots" with the field

 

What makes you special:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, business, engineering, or a related field     
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the Elevators & Escalators industry and products
  • Excellent skills in PowerBI, Sharepoint and Microsoft Power Platforms
  • Knowledge of the AI platforms / tools to automate regular reports            
  • Expert in Excel in order to work outside of the PowerBI platforms when required
  • Excellent English langugage skills (at least C1), any other language is an advantage
  • Experience in competitive benchmarks or other performance benchmark metrics
  • You are able to distill large volumes of data and inputs into actionable recommendations for CTO, marketing, and sales
  • Strategic and conceptual skills with ability to "think outside of the box"
  • Collaborative and communicative attitude for ongoing exchange with global functions and other countries
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
