Join us as a

SAP Lead Global Payroll & Time Management (m/f/d) 80-100% 

In this role as SAP Lead Global Payroll & Time Management, you ensure stable, compliant end‑to‑end Payroll and Time Management solutions through hands‑on operational leadership, system optimization, and implementation, while providing clear governance aligned with the global HR roadmap.

 

You Impact

  • Lead the global team: Coach and develop a small, distributed expert team; ensure smooth onboarding, knowledge transfer, and stay close to day-to-day activities, support problem-solving, and actively contribute to key topics where needed. 
  • Ensure practical translation of the roadmap into executable solutions and support implementation details where required. 
  • Actively engage in solution design, testing, and deployment activities to ensure successful delivery. 
  • Work closely with vendors on operational topics, solution design, issue resolution, and continuous improvements. 
  • Actively support troubleshooting, system configuration adjustments, and process optimization to ensure stable daily operations. 
 

Who you are 

You are a confident leader with strong coaching capabilities, a pragmatic, hands-on mindset. You combine structured thinking with the ability to actively engage in operational topics and complex problem-solving. You excel in stakeholder and vendor management, communicate effectively across cultures, and turn technical complexity into clear, business focused outcomes. 

 

What you bring 

  • University degree in Information Technology, HR, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; additional certifications (e.g. SAP, Project Management) are an advantage 

  • Proven experience in global Payroll/Payroll Outsourcing and Time Management operations within complex, international environments,  

  • Strong expertise in SAP Payroll (SAP HCM and/or EC Payroll) and SAP SuccessFactors Time Management 

  • Demonstrated experience leading global HR technology projects and system integrations 

  • Solid background in vendor governance, contract management, and international stakeholder management 

  • Ongoing professional development in HR technology, payroll compliance, or program management is an advantage 

  • Fluent in English, German is an advantage. Willingness to travel 10%
