Team Lead Digital Services - Monitoring & Reporting (m/f/d)


We Elevate... Your Responsibilities

  • Driving Schindler's end-to-end monitoring solutions for all IoT and digital products
  • Work successfully in projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Have a deep understanding of Schindler’s digital ecosystem used to expand monitoring solution coverage
  • Take ownership of the solution ensuring stakeholder buy-in
  • Define tangible reports targeted at a variety of stakeholders involving technical and business aspects
  • Identify, develop and apply automation to improve processes and reduce workload
  • Develop Monitoring and reporting team within DCC to assure professional solution competence for Schindler's Digital Operations
  • Contribute to product improvements by introducing insights of the IoT fleet operations

  • Bachelor degree-education in computer science, engineering sciences, technical diploma (Fähigkeitszeugnis / Ausweis) or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in a previous technical support and managerial role is a must

Knowledge and experience:

  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in a support organization or software development with technical support aspects
  • Abililty to work successfully in projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience providing support to customers. Customer friendly attitude, ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical people efficiently
  • Working proficiency with Python scripting. Additional languages a plus
  • Professional experience with monitoring distributed systems (ELK, Grafana, Nagios, Zabbix)
  • Solid understanding of Linux System Administration concepts
  • Experience in conducting training activities with various stakeholders globally
  • Deep understanding of REST APIs
  • Professional experience working with SLAs and KPIs
  • Experience with modern infrastructure and deployment tools: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD 
  • Experience creating and leveraging API capabilities to automate tasks
  • Professional experience with incident handling (detection, recovery, post-mortem)

Language skills:

  • Solid command of written and verbal English
  • Additional languages a plus, German preferred
