Warehouse Associate - TEMPORARY ROLE
Your main responsibilities
This is a 6-month temporary assignment and is not benefit-eligible
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks.
- Receive, unpack, inspect, and sign for incoming shipments; report any damage immediately.
- Verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices.
- Move materials using forklifts or hand trucks to storage or work areas.
- Deliver parts to QC and other departments; route non-inventory items appropriately.
- Pick, inspect, count, and prepare items for shipment using scales as needed.
- Pack and stage items for shipment, including assembling boxes when required.
- Process UPS, FedEx, and other parcel shipments; identify and report errors.
- Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy, quality, labeling, and specifications.
- Read work orders and production schedules to determine material movement.
- Fill and distribute requisitions, work orders, and stock items to production teams.
- Move materials within the warehouse and perform cycle counts as assigned.
- Perform basic forklift maintenance (charging, battery water levels, etc.).
- Assist other warehouse areas and support internal customers as needed.
- Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and keep work areas clean, safe, and organized.
What you bring
- High school diploma or GED required, plus 1 year of related experience or training; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day.
- Frequent walking, stair climbing, stooping, kneeling, bending, and crouching.
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs; occasionally up to 60 lbs.
- Frequently exert up to 60 lbs of force to push or pull objects or equipment.
