We Elevate... Your Responsibilities

As a Project Manager at Schindler, you are responsible for the complete execution of projects, from sales handover through to final delivery and project closure. You ensure that planning, budget and quality objectives are achieved while coordinating efficient collaboration among all stakeholders involved.

 

You are a visible and trusted partner for customers, colleagues, suppliers and subcontractors. Through your strong organizational skills and proactive approach, you ensure the successful delivery of projects while maintaining profitability, customer satisfaction and compliance with applicable processes and regulations.



Your impact in this role


You take full ownership of your projects

  • Manage projects from post-sales handover through to final completion
  • Monitor planning, budget, quality and contractual commitments
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and in accordance with quality standards
  • Safeguard profitability and healthy cash flow throughout your projects

You are the central link between all stakeholders

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the entire project lifecycle, building long-lasting professional relationships
  • Coordinate various internal stakeholders such as Sales, Engineering and Execution teams
  • Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure smooth project deliver

You proactively manage risks, changes and opportunities

  • Identify and manage project risks
  • Follow up on project changes and variation orders
  • Manage technical, administrative and financial follow-up activities
  • Monitor orders, suppliers and subcontractors
  • Ensure accurate project documentation and reporting
  • Organize internal handovers between the various departments involved

 

You ensure quality, safety and compliance

  • Contribute to the safe and high-quality execution of all projects
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor adherence to internal processes and procedures
  • Ensure a smooth handover following project completion

What you bring to succeed in this role

  • A bachelor's degree in a technical or commercial field, or equivalent through experience
  • Experience in project management, preferably within a technical environment
  • Knowledge of project finance, budget management and cost control
  • Experience coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and French
  • Knowledge of English is an advantage
