Manager - PPIC
Your main responsibilities
Objectives of the function : Overall Production Planning, Material Planning (Both Production and consumable material) and Inventory Control for INW
Responsibilities :
- Interaction with Sales and Fulfillment team for Escalator Deliveries
- Prepare production plan based on production capacity, sales and inventory
- Ensure OTD from factory and outsourced procurement units.
- Run MRP for inbound material requirement & ensure timely placement of orders to domestic and Import suppliers.
- Effectuating Inventory Control with Industry Leading Practices
- Optimize production order considering Business challenges and commercial aspects.
- Set Production Targets & Track manufacturing performance driving continuous improvement activities.
- MIS Generation
- Prepare material replenishment plan for factory store & Warehouse.
- Prepare inventory projection based on Production Sales and Inventory.
- Generate work order for in-house factory production.
- GAP analysis and action to prevent the repetitive failures.
- Ensure High inventory turns and accuracy for factory and Warehouse.
- Participate in development and active testing of SAP solutions.
- Identify opportunities for energy savings and lead initiatives to reduce energy consumption, costs, and environmental impact.
Authorities :
- Approve production plans, set targets, release work orders
- Enforce inventory policies, approve replenishment, optimize inventory
- Run MRP, approve purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers
- Coordinate with Sales/Fulfillment, participate in meetings
- Track performance, lead improvement, conduct GAP analysis
- Approve MIS reports, participate in SAP development/testing
What you bring
Education : B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical. MBA will be added advantage
Professional experience : 12-16 Years
Standard Awareness :
- Occupational Health, Safety, environment, Quality policy awareness & Energy Management policy awareness.
- ISO 14001,45001, 9001, 50001 standard awareness
Languages : Proficiency in English, Hindi & Marathi
IT : MS office, SAP PP and SAP MM.
Key Competence Required for this job :
- Strong in data analytics, data presentation & reporting
- Should be competent in drawing reading & process assessment
- Knowledge of Heavy Fabrication, sheet metal & machining componentsProficient in English
