Quality (Sr. Engineer/Assistant Manager)

 

We Elevate... Your Responsibilities

Supply chain quality engineer:

  • Plan, schedule and supervise day to day field queries /complaints including all troubleshooting
  • Liaison between KG(Field operaitons), site team & engineering to provide faster claim response with detailed root cause findings and prompt corrective actions
  • Collaborate with CFT’s for timely claim resolution with respect to Schindler ON-0-16280
  • Tracking claim status on a weekly basis to achieve desired KPI’s
  • Communicate with vendor regularly to address any concerns and foster an environment that facilitates continual improvement in working relationships
  • Resolve non-conformance issues with supplied materials and follow up with suppliers for completion of RCA and preventive actions
  • Assist with logistics, including communications with vendors when there are packaging and receiving issues when materials arrive at receiving dock
  • Coordinate the identification, segregation and disposition of non-conforming product found during in-process inspection. Co-ordinate the task for its internal scrap, rework, concessional items and customer returns

  • Good interpersonal and communication skill, Initiative, and good team player.
  • Experience in handling a small team of quality supervisor & inspectors
  • Sound technical knowledge of sheet metal process & Logistics knowhow
  • Incoming & in-process inspection knowhow Awareness and practical knowledge on Quality plan, P-FMEA, Control plan, Process flow diagram etc.

 

Profesisonal Experience

  • 5-8 years of experience within Supply Chain Quality Management in manufacturing / Logistics Industry
  • Quality Project Management (SPSP, 8D, Cause-and-effect, Pareto, PPAP etc.)
  • Sound understanding on how to read and understand technical drawings

 

Standard Awareness

  • .Occupational Health, Safety, environment & Quality policy awareness
  • ISO 14001,45001, 9001 standard awareness

 

Languages

Proficiency in English, Hindi & Marathi

 

IT

Knowledge of MS office tools and SAP PP & MM module

 

Key Competencies 

  • Strong in data analytics
  • Data presentation & reporting Should be competent in drawing reading & process assessment Knowledge of Heavy Fabrication, sheet metal & machining components Knowhow in handling measuring instrument
