Objective Function

The role will lead Nonproduction material ad services for Schindler India across various sites and offices. The role is intended to build a strategy around all category groups in the NPMS domain and to achieve cost efficiencies to make Schindler India profitable. It also aims at risk management and maintaining business continuity

Responsibility

• Creating and defining strategic roadmaps for all NPMS categories
• Accountability for end-to-end RfQ management including negotiations and complete contract management.
• Suppler identification, assessment/evaluation, and selection
• Cost leadership and cost accountability for MPMS procurement
• Market Intelligence to capture outlook for ongoing and future market price conditions.
• Present plan and strategies to senior leadership on NPMS categories
• Process Improvement and modification to bring resource efficiencies and improve internal customer satisfaction.
• Manage stakeholder from various background and diversities.  Liaise with global category leads and deploy best practices in the region.
• Build synergies between different NPMS team across Schindler Group to define the best option for the region.
• Any other responsibility deemed apt for the role based on business needs
• Plan and minimize working capital in line with sales & production plans.
• Continuous process of developing new vendors for new and existing materials.
