Territory Sales Manager New Installation
Your Skills
The Territory Sales Manager - NI should provide management of company’s activities and functions relating to the installation of all new products as well as driving all acquisition and efforts for new opportunities outside our portfolio within an assigned geographic span. All this work is to be fulfilled in a manner which achieves customer satisfaction as well as the strategic business objectives of the region.
- Develop and execute a business plan in support of the territory’s financial and non-financial objectives and support the implementation and execution of NI sales initiatives.
- Recommend regional sales budgets in line with the national targets and support NI sales representatives in their efforts to identify opportunities and achieve sales targets.
- Forecast and track performance relative to financial targets.
- Source, analyze and integrate competitive data into territory’s NI sales strategy.
- Partner closely with NI Sales Business Line as the lead role for NI sales initiatives, policies and programs within the territory.
- Responsible for managing net working capital via appropriate asset management measures and proper billing procedures.
- Review and approve all pricing escalations above a certain value.
- Develop and execute a strategic, sustainable customer excellence plan to deliver high quality customer service and grow loyalty with customers.
- Cultivate and maintain strong commercial relationships with key customers, GCs and influential industry consultants through personal contact and staff assignments.
- Responsible for managing, mentoring and leading a team of NI-focused Sales Representatives by setting and clarifying employee objectives, managing their ongoing performance and continuously developing their skills, all in an effort to drive the NI sales team to meet required metrics and financial targets.
- Lead the hiring and onboarding of all new NI sales representatives.
- Initiate procedures and leadership practices to create a business environment for participative management, maintain high morale of subordinates and demonstrate strong support of Schindler’s cultural beliefs and best practices.
- Review labor estimates for all NI bids in partnership with the Sales Representative and Territory NI Operations Manager.
- Ensure all required NI sales meetings are effective. Lead meetings where appropriate.
- Responsible for legal interface of procedures like collection efforts and contractual disputes.

Your Experience
Education:
- BA/BS Business / Management / Marketing / Sales
- Possess overall knowledge of product and product application; NI techniques and procedures; ability to understand financial statements; legal awareness to contract terms and conditions.
Work Experience:
- 5-7 years in various assignments within the Company, in the Elevator industry, or in another service-oriented business.
- Business-to-Business sales experience
- Experience managing a P&L for an industrial company.
Additional:
- Up to 50% travel within the territory will be required
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office
