Territory Operations Manager

 

Your main responsibilities

  • Lead territory operations, overseeing new product installations and partnering with Sales on portfolio expansion to achieve regional business objectives
  • Develop and execute territory business plans aligned to financial, operational, and customer satisfaction goals
  • Build and manage operational budgets, working capital, and assets to ensure cost-effective execution and profitability
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, general contractors, and industry consultants
  • Lead, hire, mentor, and performance-manage Field Superintendents and Project Coordinators to achieve KPIs and financial targets
  • Drive labor planning, technician engagement, training, and performance management to improve productivity and quality
  • Provide technical oversight and project escalation support to ensure on-time, efficient, and profitable project closeout
  • Partner with Product Line, Safety, and Quality teams to ensure compliance, inspections, turnover, and safety excellence

 

Locations: Chicago, WI, St. Louis, Des Moines, or Minneapolis

 

What you bring

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of products and applications, modernization methods and procedures, financial statement analysis, and contract terms and conditions

Work Experience

  • 5–7 years of progressive experience within the elevator industry, a service-oriented business, or a comparable environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing a full P&L in an industrial or service-based organization

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the territory
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
