Account Manager - Service

 

Your main responsibilities

As an Account Manager - Service, you will negotiate and secure contracts for new and existing customers in Christchurch. You will be dealing with warm leads. Your keys to success will be your customer service and relationship focus. You will display excellent organization, follow through, and time management skills. Your role will require you to:

  • Successfully negotiate contracts with new and existing customers and provide a positive experience throughout
  • Showcase your interpersonal skills with all people you interact with in this role
  • Assist in proposal planning and tender preparation.
  • Maintain contract database and associated files to a high standard.
  • Develop and prepare required internal and external reports to an excellent standard at all times.
  • Liaise with customers on compliance defects, renovations, repairs & connectivity, and provide outstanding support and care
  • Maintain and process associated sales in line with set targets.
  • Forecast sales (service/renovations/repairs) targets and ensure they are met to the highest standards that showcase Schindler excellence.
  • Arrange and participate in regular, planned internal and external client meetings. Involve other Schindler Managers and operational staff where appropriate and be the buzz that excites us all.
 

What you bring

  • At least one year experience as an account manager or business development manager in a technical or industrial field (eg Lift, HVAC, Fire Protection or Building Facilities)
  • Value high standards of customer service and show a passion for excellence.
  • Goal focused with experience managing multiple priorities.
  • Highly organised
  • Keen on details and keep meticulous records to a very high standard.
  • You love working in a dynamic environment and are part of the buzz that makes for great teamwork and collegiality. The team matters to you.
  • Proactive mindset and strategic thinker.
  • Excellent English & communication skills
  • Eligibility to work permanently in New Zealand
