Area Sales Manager LPC
Your main responsibilities

The Area Sales Manager - Large Projects Center (LPC) is a senior commercial leader responsible for shaping, driving, and executing the sales strategy for large project revenue growth across the assigned Area. This role oversees a high performance sales organization, ensures consistent pipeline growth, partners closely with operations to deliver world class outcomes, and will help to define the Area go to market approach for Large Projects. The ASM LPC serves as the Field Operations owner of large project sales performance, forecasting accuracy, competitive positioning, and strategic account engagement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Strategic Leadership - Develop and execute the Area large project sales strategy aligned with corporate growth goals. Lead annual planning for the Area with regards to large project revenue, pricing strategy, portfolio segmentation, and sales resourcing. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and technology shifts to identify opportunities and gaps.
- Sales Management & Performance - Set performance targets, establish KPIs, and ensure consistent execution of the sales process. Own forecasting accuracy, pipeline health, and data quality across CRM tools.
- Customer & Market Engagement - Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers, consultants, general contractors, and property owners. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer forums.
- Cross Functional Partnership - Work closely with Operations, Field, Engineering, and Finance to ensure proposals are executable, profitable, and aligned with capacity. Partner with Marketing to refine messaging, collateral, and digital selling tools. Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to align offerings with customer needs and market evolution (including digital upgrades, IoT solutions, controllers, drives, and safety enhancements).
What you bring
Education
- BA/BS in Business / Management / Marketing / Sales, or other related field
Experience
- 5+ years in Functional field sales
- Sales leadership experience preferred
Additional
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time

The expected salary range for this position ranges by location:
• Los Angeles, Irvine, San Diego, Sacramento, San Francisco & Seattle: $142,800 - $178,600
• Spokane, Portland, Boise, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, Denver, Las Vegas: $128,700 - $160,900
The above represents the typical salary range for this position. Revisions to the range may be considered based on your experience, education, location, demonstrated skills, and alignment with business priorities. Please note that the compensation listed reflects only base salary and does not include commissions or longer-term incentives.
